Just a quick note to thank our champion Julie Gammack for interviewing me on Monday. I’m in Provence, France, returning to Quiltropolis (Winterset, Iowa 50273) just in time for Madison County’s “Airing of the Quilts” on June 8.
Julie and I covered quilty and non-quilty topics. I loved it that several people tuned in, even though it was Memorial Day in the Etas-Unis, to share their thoughts on beloved family quilts. You can listen to our conversation here.
At the moment, I’m on a river boat on the Rhone, enjoying the scenery and the rosé, remembering the mid-2000s, when I brought groups of quilters with me to this very beautiful part of the world. I’ll tell you more about that soon. For now, here’s a photo snapped back then at market stalls in Aix-en-Provence.
Such fun! I’m enjoying your dispatches!
