A fact filled and fun first column! thanks. my mom loved quilting. I'm so happy that she made multiple ones for her kids and grandkids before she passed. all are still on beds or hanging from our walls.

Robert, you are a lucky man to have quilts made by your mom. When people ask me if I ever sell a quilt, I tell them, "If I love you, it's free. Otherwise, it's $100,000!

Thanks for being so generous to the other writers in the Iowa Writers' Collaborative. Iowa became my home when I attended Grinnell College, so I was a natural fan of F & P! Love watching Mary's path in life. She's such a natural performer; I routinely refer new quilters to her Quilty on YouTube.
