Haha—I learned from Teresa (after sending her the link to this post) that the "supplier" of her buttons is herself. She said, "I print them, cut them, and make them all myself with a button hand press! It's a good little work out."
What a great story! I was going to add in my post how careful I was during my many years in Public Television. Leave the "l" out of Public, and you'd never live it down.
Oh boy, does this ever bring back memories? I was a court reporter for twenty years. When I first began working at a deposition firm in downtown San Francisco, the owner had two extensive dictionaries that we reporters would use to ensure our transcripts' spellings were accurate. He wasn't very cheerful and would never help us find a word. We often spent fifteen minutes searching those large volumes to find a word we didn't know how to spell. But I'll tell you what, his strictness and discipline forced me to become a competent reporter, which still benefits me today as a writer. Love the button!
